Blue Microphones announces finalists in Silly Summer Songfest

September 15, 2003 - Westlake Village, CA: Earlier this summer, Blue Microphones announced their Silly Summer Songfest which ran through July and August. Having listened to some 400 very silly entries, the guys at Blue are happy to finally stop laughing and announce the top 10 finalists.

Blue proudly congratulates the Ten Most Demented contestants (in alphabetical order):

Jonathan Stein - Montreal, QC Canada

Stephanie Szostek - Westminster, CO

The final entries have been sent to radio legend and Master of Musical Mayhem, Dr. Demento, who will render his final decision on the winners this month, with an official announcement being made on October 15. The top three winners will recieve the following prizes:

First prize is a Blue Baby Bottle Microphone with shock mount and pop filter and a Blue Blueberry Mic Cable (retail value: $832.95)
Second Prize is a Blue Ball Microphones and a Blue Blueberry Mic Cable (retail value: $313.95)
Third Prize is three Blue Blueberry Mic Cables (retail value: $104.85)

All top ten entrants have received a Blue T-Shirt, as well as a personal word of congratulations from Dr. Demento.
